Bariloche is a beautiful resort city in the

San Carlos
de Bariloche es una ciudad turística ubicada a lo largo del Lago Nahuel Huapi con
una población de 70.000 habitantes. Está situada a 1.650 kilometros al sudoeste
de Buenos Aires. Es parte de la Patagonia. Fue construida por inmigrantes suizos.
Ahora se la llama Suiza de América del Sur. Está en el Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi
y rodeada por montañas de 3000 metros de alto.

Hemos hecho un viaje a Bariloche desde el 6 hasta el 11 de marzo de
2006. Se tarda 20 horas en autobus (coche cama) desde La Plata o desde Buenos
Aires.

Pure water, clean

Suiza. Este lago no está en Europa, sino en América del Sur. Se llama Lago
Nahuel Huapi. Recuerdo la impresión que tuve al pasear por la orilla del Lago

animales salvajes, descubrimientos arqueológicos, materiales etnográficos, y
muchos eventos históricos. Es
interesante la historia de la resistencia Mapuche contra los Conquistadores
del Desierto. Unos fósiles excavados en la Patagonia están ahora expuesto en
el Museo de Ciencias Naturales de La Plata. En mi mano está HISTORIA INDIGENA
DE LA PATAGONA, un libro muy interesante. Martin Fierro, 1834-1886, escribió,

A cute Saint Bernard warmly welcomes us in the main street of B. Mitre. How cheerful the mighty dog is! international tourists. Many

disfrutado de una buena compañía con un grupo de Brasil y Uruguay. Bariloche
es una ciudad de turistas internacionales. En la calle se escucha ingles
americano frecuentemente. |
Stores in Bariloche 奨偺揦 Tiendas en Bariloche
Bariloche is the Switzerland of South America. No wonder restaurants serve fondue (shown in the picture) here and there. Many fancy chocolate shops wait for international sightseers or gourmets. How delicious chocolates are! As you can see from the picture, the streets are clean, especially compared with those in big cities. Why? I happened to ask a local resident in a restaurant, 乬Why is Bariroche so clean?乭 He answered 乬It is our custom to keep streets clean. Bariloche is a town of tourists. Everybody is conscious of keeping our town clean. It is citizens, not the government, who keeps it clean and attractive.乭 Swiss and German custom of keeping town clean lives on.

Bariloche es famosa como la Suiza de Latinoamérica Hay unos restaurantes que sirven fondue
como el de la foto. Muchas tiendas lujosos ofrecen chocolates muy ricos. La
comida de truchas es tambien excelente (no es trucho. Es verdadero). Se ven muchos talleres de fotografia
para turistas. Como se ve en la
foto, la calle nos parece muy limpia, en comparación a las de BsAs o La Plata. En un restaurante pregunté a un
habitante local por qué Bariloche es tan limpio. El contestó, 乬Es nuestra
costumbre mantener la ciuda limpia. Cada uno es consciente de la limpieza.
Bariloche es una ciudad de turistas internacionales. No es el gobierno sino
cada habitante el responsable de no tirar basura.乭 Las costumbres de Suizos y
Alemanes sobreviven aquí.
Next, look at the photo below. You see something humorous? Knitting wool above, but below is SPAGHETI (smile). The funny combination attracts many passers-by including me. Desirous of eating spagheti and attracted by the humor, I stepped in. To my surprise the menu includes nothing like spagheti offered. The other food I ordered was very tasty. (Later I knew that they use not the world spaghetti but other words like tallarines or fideos to mean noodles. No wonder I found no spaghetti on the menu.)

foto. ¿Halla algo gracioso? Tejer con lana (arriba), pero con spaguettis
(abajo)(sonreir). Muchos turistas incluyendome se paran y lo encuentran
atractivo. Deseoso de comer espagueti, entré en el restaurante. Pero, no pude
hallarla en el menú. La otra comida que pedí estaba sabrosa. (Después, un amigo
me dijo que tallarines o fideos se usan en lugar de spaghettis en restaurantes
aquí. No me sorprende que no hallé el nombre de spaguettis en el menú. )

Arrayanes look very exotic.丂Their reddish skin is very
unique. It is only here in the
world that such trees grow. The reddish color looks very clear in the rain.
The reddish trees gave Walt Disney many ideas before contriving BAMI movies.

ascenso en aerosilla a los cerros cuando hace buen tiempo es siempre cómodo,
pero también lo es cuando hace mal tiempo. El 8 de marzo de 2006 hemos
disfrutado del ascenso en aerosilla al Cerro Campanario A PESAR DE LA LLUVIA
Y EL VIENTO. ¿Disfrutar a pesar de el mal tiempo? Sí, porque en la cumbre del
Cerro Campanario hemos visto un hermoso arco iris que se formó de repente. El
mal tiempo hizo que mucha gente de nuestro grupo se quedara en el micro. Nosotros
tambien habíamos vacilado. A pesar de la lluvia o el viento, el

This is an all-day excursion to seven lakes through
beautiful mountains. The bus visits many beautiful spots only four of which are
introduced here. The participants were from many countries:

El viernes 10 de marzo de 2006
hemos participado en La Siete Lagos Excursion todo el día. Aquí se pueden
presentar solo los cuatro lugares muy agradables. El grupo fue muy
internacional, con parcipantes de Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Inglaterra, Japón
y Lituania.

The stream on the right flows into the

El arroyo a
la derecha fluye hacia el Atlántico a través de la Pampa de Argentina, mientras
el de la izquiera hacia el Pacífico a través de Chile. Este lugar es uno de los
divisorias en los Andes, y a 1600 metros de altura dentro del Parque Nacional
Nahuel Huapi.

This city, too, is so pretty and so clean, perhaps more so than Bariloche. .This is the northern limit of the seven-lakes tour. The bus goes south back to Bariloche via a different route.

La primera obra intenta expresar la macho aspecto de montañas muy altas y
escarpadas.. Es mejor mirarlo un poco lejos con los ojos semicerrados.
