大晦日は街中が花火で大賑わいだった。１月１日の朝　騒ぎの跡が街のあちこちに残る。年が変わる目に、花火を打ち上げる、深夜までさわぐのはここでも年中行事である。

On the New Year’s Eve, the whole town was noisy with fireworks here and there. The moring after sees the remnants scattered on the streets.This is an annual event here, too.
