No4 厳しい現実１ Malabarista(マラバリスタ、大道芸人)と Limpia Vidro(車の窓拭き)
道の中央で遊んでいるのではない。これでも仕事中である。道の真ん中の曲芸士、止まった車を前にした一瞬の離れ業。「ああ上手だなあ」と見ほれる人が信号待ちの車の中にいたらしめたものである。後で小銭をせびることができる。The young are not playing. They are performing a fine job of juggler. Once the drivers feel impressed feeling how excellent the play is, they may be given some money. The performance is done promptly during the short break, say one minute, before the signal changes.
この仕事に彼らの生活がかかっている。サーカスの曲芸師にならってジャグラー（jugglar, malabarista）と言われる。若者たちの表情は真剣（悲壮）である。
横断歩道の真ん中での堂々たる二人演技、まさに大道芸人。注目するドライバーもいる。うれしいことである。
駐車場で洗車中？とんでもない。交差点で信号待ちの車をめがけて突進し、窓拭きを行う若者たちである。Limpia Vidro(車の窓拭き)という。Cuida Coche (ボディをきれいにする者)とは違う。頼まれないのに行うのでお金をもらえないこともある。短い時間を利用した窓拭きが小遣い稼ぎの仕事になることもある。不安定な道路上の瞬間の仕事。ラプラタ市内で撮影。
Washing their own cars on the parking area? Far from it. The youths are busy washing the windows of the cars on the street until the traffic signal changes. The time allowed is only one minute. They are very skillful. They look at the eye of the driver first. If the response seems to be favorable, the youths proceed to wash. They are not sure if the driver pays or not. The generous driver sometimes gives some small money before moving away.
